Welcome to Teaching Marguerite de Navarre’s Heptaméron

Leanna Bridge Rezvani, MIT

I have designed this site for scholars and students interested in exploring Marguerite de Navarre’s Heptaméron.  I hope that these resources will help you to delve more deeply into this compelling writer and her texts.  My hope is that by compiling these resources, you will be able to more easily access information about her writings and her substantial influence in debates about religion and women in sixteenth-century France.

Please do not hesitate to contact me  with questions or suggestions.

Finally, I would like to thank the Department of Global Studies and Languages at MIT for the Gilberte Furstenberg and Douglas Morgenstern grant for this project.
